Visma | Lease a Bike won Stage 1, the 19.6km team time trial in Barcelona, with Jonas Vingegaard claiming the first yellow jersey. Netcompany Ineos finished second and UAE Team Emirates-XRG third, leaving Visma eight seconds ahead of Ineos and 12 in front of UAE in the provisional general classification.
