Carlos Sainz topped the timesheets on Day 2 of the 2024 Bahrain F1 test, with Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton following closely behind. The morning session was curtailed after Charles Leclerc hit a loose drain cover, while the afternoon session saw little performance work. Sainz set the fastest time of 1:29.921 on the softer C4 tires, with Perez and Hamilton rounding out the top three. The pre-season testing will conclude with a third day of testing before the 2024 season opener at the same venue next week.
