Rays' Wander Franco Arrested in Dominican Republic Amid Investigation
TL;DR
Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco appeared before a prosecutor in the Dominican Republic to address allegations of inappropriate relationships with minors. He was accompanied by his legal team but details of the meeting remain undisclosed. No criminal charges have been filed yet, and MLB placed him on administrative leave in August, with the Rays expressing support for the investigation.
