TL;DR

Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs has been arrested on second-degree animal cruelty charges for allegedly leaving two dogs unattended for 10 days in a rented property. Buggs, who denies the allegations, posted a $600 bond and will have a court hearing on June 13. His agent claims the charges are part of a conspiracy by the City of Tuscaloosa to tarnish Buggs' reputation and force the closure of his local business. Buggs has also faced other legal issues recently and remains on the Kansas City Chiefs' roster.
