Hurts Drives 2-0 Eagles as OL and Safety Woes Surface vs Titans
TL;DR
Jalen Hurts engineered a late comeback to lift the Eagles to 2-0, with DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks delivering strong WR play. The run game stalled without Saquon Barkley, and the O-line—the left side in particular—struggled, underscoring concerns up front. The TE group remains thin without Goedert. Defensively, the corners were excellent, but safeties Marcus Epps and Andrew Mukuba were liability issues, while the edge rush was adequate but not dominant. Special teams were solid, highlighted by a long Jake Elliott field goal.
