Jets open season with a dominant Week 1 win over Titans, signaling renewed momentum
TL;DR
The Jets beat the Titans 23-10 in Week 1, led by Geno Smith’s efficient 19-of-24, 215-yard performance on a strong opening drive that produced their first TD, a 152-yard ground game, and a swarming defense that pressured Cam Ward; New York outgained Tennessee 367-195 and, despite penalties and a missed long field goal, showed offensive and defensive form that could fuel optimism under coach Aaron Glenn.
