"Bears Secure Top Spot in 2024 NFL Draft Order as Regular Season Concludes"
TL;DR
The Chicago Bears have secured the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft following the Carolina Panthers' loss and the Arizona Cardinals' win. The Bears own the Panthers' first-round pick, which became the top selection after the Panthers lost to the Jaguars and the Cardinals defeated the Eagles. The race for the No. 2 pick is tight, with the Cardinals, Patriots, and Commanders all at 4-12 records, potentially being decided by a strength-of-schedule tiebreaker. The current draft order from picks 1 to 32 is set based on Week 17 outcomes and playoff seeding, with the final order to be determined after Week 18's games.
