"Blackhawks Ink Top Prospect Frank Nazar to 3-Year Deal"
TL;DR
The Chicago Blackhawks signed top prospect Frank Nazar to a three-year entry-level contract, and he will join the team for the final three games of the season. The 20-year-old forward, who was the 13th overall pick in the 2022 draft, had a solid sophomore season at Michigan and will now get his first taste of NHL action. His entry-level contract will carry a cheap $950,000 cap hit, and his brief stint with the Hawks will help determine his placement on the depth chart for next season.
