Brandon Clarke’s death ruled accidental from heroin and cocaine

Memphis Grizzlies forward and former Gonzaga star Brandon Clarke died in May at age 29; the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled the death accidental and attributed it to the effects of heroin and cocaine, with drug paraphernalia reportedly found at the residence. Clarke had been with the Grizzlies for seven seasons, played for Gonzaga in 2018-19, and was arrested weeks before his death on speeding and controlled-substance charges.
