Cardinals' Flaherty and Contreras dominate Brewers in shutout win.
TL;DR
The St. Louis Cardinals need to improve their home record and chase away the boo birds from Busch Stadium. Despite a recent winning streak, the Cardinals have struggled at home, with a 7-13 record. Winning more games at home is crucial to winning back fan support and turning around their season. The team's pitching staff has struggled at home, with a home ERA of 5.02, the third-highest in the National League. The offense has shown signs of life, but it's not enough to cover for underperforming arms. The Cardinals have a tough seven-game homestand against the first-place Brewers and the Dodgers, and more wins than losses could help turn things around.
