Trey Benson of the Arizona Cardinals has been placed on Injured Reserve with a knee injury, further complicating the team's struggling running game. Benson, who was expected to be a key player after James Conner's injury, underwent arthroscopic surgery and is expected to return later this season. The team has signed several running backs, including Michael Carter and D'Ernest Johnson, to fill the void.
