"Close Call: No. 13 Creighton's Upset Bid Falls Short Against Butler in High-Scoring Thriller"
TL;DR
No. 13 Creighton suffered a narrow 99-98 loss to Butler in a high-scoring Big East showdown, despite putting together a strong offensive performance. Butler's Jahmyl Telfort and DJ Davis led the charge, with Telfort scoring 26 points and Davis adding 22. Creighton's Baylor Scheierman contributed 26 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome Butler's offensive prowess. The game marked the first time in nearly six years that both teams in a Big East matchup shot over 54.5%, and Creighton now looks ahead to their upcoming rematch with Providence.
