TL;DR
Corey Perry, whose contract was terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks for "unacceptable" behavior, has been signed by the Edmonton Oilers to a one-year, $775,000 contract with performance bonuses. The 38-year-old forward apologized for his behavior and stated he's seeking help for alcohol-related struggles.
