"Cubs Dominate Top Prospects Lists with Surprising Talent"
TL;DR
The latest preseason top-100 prospects list from Keith Law at The Athletic features five Chicago Cubs prospects, with some surprises in the rankings. Law's list includes Pete Crow-Armstrong, Matt Shaw, Kevin Alcántara, Cade Horton, and Michael Busch. Law's rankings differ from other lists, with some prospects ranked higher or lower than expected. He sees substantial development potential ahead for Alcántara and believes Horton's rapid development could make him a mid-rotation starter. Law's list also reflects his high regard for many NL Central prospects and the overall talent level in the division.
