The Dodgers and Cubs have agreed to a trade sending rookie infielder Michael Busch and reliever Yency Almonte from Los Angeles to Chicago for prospects Jackson Ferris and Zyhir Hope. Busch, a highly regarded bat-first prospect, has shown strong offensive production in the minors but has yet to receive a significant MLB opportunity. Almonte, a 29-year-old righty, will join the Cubs' middle relief corps. In return, the Dodgers receive promising lower-level players Ferris and Hope.
