The Athletic’s Katie Woo reports the Dodgers placed closer Edwin Díaz on the 15‑day injured list with neck inflammation, an issue not related to his elbow. Díaz has struggled since returning from the IL, allowing 11 runs in 7 2/3 innings, and Tanner Scott is the likely candidate to reclaim the closer role.
