Eagles Bolster Defense with Signing of Safety Terrell Edmunds
TL;DR
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed veteran safety Terrell Edmunds to a one-year deal worth an undisclosed amount. Edmunds, who started 75 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will likely compete for a starting spot with the Eagles. The move comes after the Eagles signed safety Justin Evans earlier this week. The team has also re-signed several of their free agents on defense, including Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox. Edmunds' signing provides a stopgap solution for the Eagles after losing several safeties to free agency.
