Former USFL President to Launch Spring League for High School Athletes

Brian Woods, former president of the USFL, is launching a spring football league for high school players called the Prep Super League, which will operate independently of high school state athletic associations and allow players to profit off their name, image, and likeness without restrictions. The league will use NCAA playing rules and have a six-week season from April 19 through May 24 with teams in 12 markets. Players will wear sensors to measure performance metrics, and the league plans to launch an app for live streaming coverage of games.
