Gaethje Clinches Lightweight Title as UFC Unveils Historic White House Bonus Payouts

At a White House event, the UFC boosted Fight of the Night to $400,000 and Performance of the Night to $425,000. Justin Gaethje won the undisputed lightweight title and earned both bonuses, totaling $825,000 in bonus money; Ciryl Gane captured the interim heavyweight title and also took $425,000. Five other fighters—Sean O’Malley, Josh Hokit, Mauricio Ruffy, Bo Nickal and Diego Lopes—each earned $25,000 knockout bonuses. The promotion aims to keep momentum with a July showdown between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway at UFC 329.
