Giants Rally Late to Defeat Rockies in Close Game.
TL;DR
The San Francisco Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies 5-4 in a game that taught no lessons. The Giants had a late-inning surge with perfectly placed hits, but it doesn't mean they'll do it again. The bullpen was undramatic and quietly brilliant. The only lesson was that Casey Schmitt's defensive flexibility and general acumen more than make up for his slumping swing-first approach, and it allows the Giants options when it comes to late-inning matchups.
