Heat, Fights Highlight Chiefs' Day 10 Camp Ahead of Preseason

Day 10 of Chiefs training camp in hot, full pads featured another long practice with a couple of on-field scuffles—Kingsley Suamataia and Felix Anudike-Uzomah exchanged punches during a full-team period, and Kenneth Walker clashed with Alohi Gilman after a run during the long-drive drill. Injuries were minor: Jeffrey Bassa returned and Cyrus Allen moved closer to full participation. Patrick Mahomes praised the competitive energy as the team approaches its first preseason game, while special-teams coach Dave Toub noted four returners (Brashard Smith, Nikko Remigio, Cyrus Allen, Jacob De Jesus) and Kevin Knowles as a fringe roster piece. The Chiefs have a rest day Sunday and return to practice Monday at 9:15 a.m.
