TL;DR

Trade talks between the Warriors and Jazz for Lauri Markkanen are at a standstill, with the Jazz prioritizing Brandin Podziemski and multiple draft picks over Jonathan Kuminga. The Warriors are hesitant to include both Podziemski and all the picks in the deal. Meanwhile, the Nuggets' Julian Strawther is impressing in the Summer League, and rookie DaRon Holmes is expected to miss the 2024/25 season due to an Achilles injury. The Clippers will play a preseason game in Seattle against the Trail Blazers on October 11.
