Liverpool land Barcola in £123m deal to boost attack

Liverpool have completed the signing of France forward Bradley Barcola from PSG for up to £123m (initial £106m plus £17m in add-ons), signing a five-year contract and taking the No. 29 shirt. The 23-year-old becomes Liverpool's fifth summer recruit and adds depth to Andoni Iraola's attack amid Mohamed Salah's departure, Hugo Ekitike's long-term injury absence, and a potential Cody Gakpo sale. Barcola scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 49 games for PSG last season, and represented France at the 2026 World Cup. The deal also includes a solidarity payment to Lyon related to Barcola's move to Paris in 2023.
