TL;DR

LSU women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey underwent a heart procedure this summer after a routine check-up for a tingling sensation in her finger led to the discovery of a blocked coronary artery with 95-99% blockage. Mulkey, who had no prior symptoms, had two stents inserted and is now urging people over 50 to get regular heart check-ups. Despite the scare, Mulkey is feeling fine and is excited for the upcoming season with the defending champions, LSU Tigers.
