Two starters, Jett Howard and Kobe Bufkin, will be out of the lineup for Michigan basketball's second-round NIT game against Vanderbilt due to ankle injuries. Reserve Isaiah Barnes is also sidelined with a leg injury. Youssef Khayat will earn his first career start in place of Howard. Vanderbilt, led by Tyrin Lawrence and Jordan Wright, has an excellent offense but struggles defensively. The game will feature former NBA teammates turned head coaches, Juwan Howard and Jerry Stackhouse.
