Rhoades, a Pennsylvania native, has a successful resume at VCU, including three NCAA Tournament appearances and a 129-60 record in six seasons. He inherits a Penn State roster that needs to be rebuilt for the 2023-24 season and beyond. Rhoades is the first significant hire for first-year athletic director Pat Kraft.
