NFL Tight End Foster Moreau Diagnosed with Cancer, Steps Away from Football.

NFL tight end Foster Moreau has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma during a physical with the New Orleans Saints. Moreau, who played the previous four seasons for the Raiders, plans to step away from football to fight cancer but hopes to eventually return to the NFL. The 25-year-old set career highs last season with 33 catches for 420 yards and two touchdowns. The Raiders and former teammate Derek Carr have shown their support for Moreau. Advances in diagnosis and treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma have helped give people with this disease the chance for a full recovery.
