Oklahoma Dominates WCWS Softball Championship.

Despite calls for the Women's College World Series to move venues, the event should remain in Oklahoma City until a better location is found. The city has hosted the tournament since 1990 and is considered the "Mecca of softball." The WCWS brings in over $25 million in revenue for the OKC metropolitan area, and ratings for this year's championship series were up. The University of Oklahoma's softball team won its third consecutive national championship, finishing with a 61-1 record and breaking the NCAA record with 53 straight wins. Florida State has a lot of returning talent for next season, but replacing ace pitcher Kathryn Sandercock will be a challenge.
