Orioles dominate Yankees in series win with strong pitching and offense.
TL;DR
The Baltimore Orioles finished their 5-1 AL East road trip with a 3-1 victory over the New York Yankees, thanks to a stellar pitching performance by Kyle Gibson, who pitched seven scoreless innings. Anthony Santander had three hits and drove in a run, while Austin Hays added a two-run double in the eighth inning. The Orioles bullpen closed out the game, with Yennier Cano earning his fourth save. The Orioles are now 33-17 on the season and have made a strong statement in the AL East.
