Tyler Wells pitched 6 2/3 innings, striking out eight and allowing only two solo homers to Danny Jansen, as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2. The win pushed the Orioles' lead over the Blue Jays in the AL Wild Card race to six games. Wells' manager, Brandon Hyde, believes the right-hander deserves All-Star attention. Adley Rutschman and Austin Hays hit solo shots for the Orioles' offense, while Félix Bautista recorded the final four outs for his 18th save.
