Patriots Pursue A.J. Brown as Eagles Open to 2028 1st-Round Pick
TL;DR
Negotiations between the Eagles and Patriots over a trade for A.J. Brown are ongoing, with Philadelphia reportedly willing to accept a 2028 first-round pick and potentially swap 2027 selections; New England remains the expected destination, while the Rams have cooled as a suitor. The deal’s terms could hinge on how draft capital is exchanged once finalized, and Brown’s contract and cap impact after June 1 are a factor, as he remains a production-heavy receiver who helped Philadelphia win Super Bowl LIX but whose fit with Hurts is under consideration.
