Phoenix Suns eyeing Tyronn Lue and Nick Nurse as potential head coach replacements.
TL;DR
The Phoenix Suns are targeting Tyronn Lue as their number one option and Nick Nurse as another name to watch in their coaching search after firing Monty Williams. The decision to let go of Williams was an organizational choice involving everyone from new team owner Mat Ishbia through all segments of team leadership. Lue is still under contract with the Clippers and would need permission to speak with the Suns. The team is expected to interview at least 6-7 candidates before filling the position.
