TL;DR

Left-handed reliever Brooks Raley was traded from the Mets to the Phillies for two Mets prospects: right-hander Luke Gabrysh and outfielder John Spikerman. Raley, who returned from Tommy John surgery to post solid bullpen work this season, strengthens Philadelphia's bullpen, while Gabrysh (23, High-A with a 5.14 ERA and a high strikeout rate) and Spikerman (speedy outfielder with a high walk rate and no homers this season) head to New York.
