"Red Sox Lock Up Pitcher Brayan Bello with Six-Year Extension"
TL;DR
The Boston Red Sox have reportedly discussed a contract extension with pitcher Tanner Houck, who has shown promise but has yet to fully establish himself as a starting pitcher. Houck's injury setbacks and better performance as a reliever add complexity to the potential extension. With the team's starting rotation in flux, both sides face challenges in reaching a deal, as Houck aims to prove himself and increase his earning power in the coming seasons.
