Red Wings Bolster Roster with Key Signings
TL;DR
The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward J.T. Compher to a five-year, $25 million deal. Compher, who played a key role in the Colorado Avalanche's Stanley Cup win in 2021-22, brings his experience and scoring ability to the Red Wings as they aim to end their playoff drought. The 28-year-old's connection to Michigan, having played for the United States National Team Development Program and the University of Michigan, adds a sense of homecoming to his signing.
