Rudy Ford's Strong Finish in Packers' Safety Competition
TL;DR
As the Green Bay Packers' training camp nears its end, Rudy Ford is back working alongside Darnell Savage as the starting safety in the team's secondary. Head Coach Matt LaFleur praised Ford for his physicality and communication skills during camp. Ford, who signed with the Packers last year, aims to contribute on defense and has shown promise with six starts and three interceptions in the previous season. The Packers expect to finalize their safety rotation and set their depth chart for the regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears.
