TL;DR

Rickie Fowler's struggles at the BMW Championship have put his spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup team in jeopardy. After a disappointing third round, Fowler dropped to 23rd in the tournament and is now 13th in the Ryder Cup standings. He will likely need one of Zach Johnson's captain's picks to secure a spot on the team. Fowler's poor performance and inconsistent track record in the Ryder Cup have raised doubts about his selection.
