Sabres stay sharp as they await Round 2 opponent
TL;DR
Buffalo, fresh off a six-game win over Boston, waits to learn its Round 2 opponent and will host Game 1 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. with a light, every-other-day recovery routine. Ostlund and Carrick are out, Logan Stanley returned to practice, and the Sabres are confident against either Montreal or Tampa Bay after facing both in the regular season. The piece also notes the Benson–Doan line’s playoff impact, a warm airport welcome home, and playoff-beard banter as the team gears up for another tight series.
