The Seattle Seahawks secured three-time Pro Bowler Devon Witherspoon with a four-year, $132 million extension through 2031, including a $26 million signing bonus (fully guaranteed) and a sequence of guaranteed base salaries and roster/option bonuses that drive cap hits from about $15.4 million in 2026 to $39.4 million in 2031. Excluding a $3.95 million rookie roster bonus, the deal’s total value reaches roughly $158.26 million when the late rookie-year bonus is counted, averaging about $26.38 million per year over the combined terms.
