TL;DR
Jordan Spieth left Memphis insisting he’s close to playing great golf, but his comments drew sharp online criticism after a season without a top-10, a FedEx St. Jude showing that didn’t secure him a playoff spot, and a long drought since his last PGA Tour win. Fans called him delusional or urged major changes to his team, while others questioned whether he’ll adjust ahead of 2027, even as he remains optimistic about the fall schedule.
