Steelers Sign CB Asante Samuel Jr. to Practice Squad
TL;DR
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed CB Asante Samuel Jr. to their practice squad after his successful spinal-fusion surgery, with the team's neurosurgeon, Dr. David Okonkwo, who performed the surgery, providing reassurance about his health. Passing the physical confirmed Samuel's good health, and the team hopes he can contribute later in the season, potentially by December, adding a talented cornerback to their secondary.
