Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Breaks Home Run Drought for Blue Jays.
TL;DR
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hits his first home run at home in 2023, but it wasn't enough to secure a win for the Blue Jays against the Oakland A's. The team struggles to find consistency and play in sync, with pitcher Chris Bassitt struggling in his outing. Guerrero's blast should have been a major moment, but instead it's just a silver lining. The Blue Jays need to find a way to play up to their talent level and improve their up-and-down brand of baseball.
