Washington Commanders settle with D.C. attorney general over ticket deposits.

The Washington Commanders have agreed to pay a $425,000 fine and refund over $200,000 in deposits to D.C. ticket holders as part of a settlement with the D.C. Attorney General's office. The team was accused of improperly holding on to security deposits and using them for purposes they weren't supposed to. The Commanders denied the allegations but will do a public records search to find affected fans and provide regular reports on refund progress. This settlement is separate from a consumer protection lawsuit against the team, owner Daniel Snyder, the NFL, and Commissioner Roger Goodell, which is ongoing.
