West Virginia's Coaching Search: Top Candidates and Updates
TL;DR
West Virginia University is searching for a new head football coach after firing Neal Brown, who led the team to a 9-4 season but struggled in recent games. Potential candidates include former WVU coach Rich Rodriguez, currently at Jacksonville State, and Jimbo Fisher, a West Virginia native recently let go by Texas A&M. Other names in the mix are UNLV's Barry Odom, Army's Jeff Monken, Ohio's Tim Albin, and Penn State coordinators Andy Kotelnicki and Ja'Juan Seider. The search aims to find a coach who can restore the program's traditional rugged and underdog spirit.
