Yankees Promote Spencer Jones as Domínguez Goes on IL
TL;DR
The Yankees recalled outfielder Spencer Jones to fill Jasson Domínguez's roster spot after Domínguez left Monday's game and was placed on the injured list with a left shoulder sprain; Domínguez will miss weeks, while Jones—a power-first, high-strikeout prospect—gets a major-league look as New York, 26-12, navigates injuries. Jones was added to the 40-man roster in November and can be optioned back if he struggles.
