"Yankees Trade Left-Hander Matt Krook to Orioles in Spring Deal"
TL;DR
The Orioles acquired left-hander Matt Krook from the Yankees in exchange for cash considerations, designating infielder Diego Castillo for assignment to make room for Krook on the 40-man roster. Krook, who struggled in his brief MLB debut, was dominant at the Triple-A level last year. He is expected to join Baltimore's bullpen mix. Meanwhile, Castillo, who has been part of multiple organizations recently, has been designated for assignment by the Orioles after being claimed off waivers just two days ago.
