Former Alabama football player and Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs faces animal cruelty charges after two malnourished dogs were found at his former rental home in Tuscaloosa. Buggs, who denies the allegations, claims the charges are part of a campaign to tarnish his reputation and force the closure of his business, Kings Hookah Lounge. Buggs has also been involved in multiple altercations with Tuscaloosa police, including an incident where he allegedly shoved the police chief.
