City seal club-record signing for Elliot Anderson from Forest

Manchester City have agreed a club-record deal to sign England midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, reportedly around £116m (some sources say up to £130m) and subject to a medical. The 23-year-old has made 88 appearances for Forest since a £35m move from Newcastle in 2024, helping them finish seventh in 2024-25 and reach the Europa League semi-finals; Forest had previously rejected earlier offers and City’s third bid has completed the move.
