"Scottie Scheffler Sets Record Pace in PGA Tour Earnings, Dominates Players Championship"
TL;DR
Scottie Scheffler made history by winning the Players Championship for the second consecutive year with a mesmerizing Sunday 64, also claiming a record-tying prize money payout of $4.5 million and becoming the 15th golfer to break the $50 million mark on the PGA Tour, doing so in just 113 starts, faster than golf greats like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. However, the surge in prize money in recent years means that Scheffler achieved this milestone with fewer tour wins compared to his predecessors.
