"Spanish Soccer Star Jenni Hermoso Testifies in Court Over World Cup Kiss Incident"
TL;DR
Spanish footballer Jenni Hermoso testified in court against former Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales, who is accused of sexually assaulting her by kissing her without consent after Spain's victory at the Women's World Cup. The incident led to a national team boycott and Rubiales' resignation. Hermoso's testimony was private, and the case is part of a broader "Me Too" movement in Spain. Rubiales, who denies wrongdoing, could face a fine or prison if convicted under Spain's new sexual consent law.
